Sins, scars, the past, and mistakes can stack up and form a brick wall that seems to hard to breakthrough and tear down. You might feel lost and alone behind that wall. You may not know how to overcome it or go through it. You may not feel strong enough to demolish it.
But guess what?
There is hope.
But you can't use the usual weapons that you're used to fighting with.
Tears and sadness? All that does is make the walls close in on you.
Anger only pushes others further from your wall.
Denial, makes you pretend the wall is not there, you may convince others for a time, but the heavy bricks on your heart tells you otherwise.
2 Corinthians 2:3-4 says, "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not earthly but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds."
Our weapons are not of this world when fighting the flesh, they are mighty if they are in God. If God is for us who can be against us? God provides for us the wrecking ball to knock down the brick wall and destroy it forever.
In God's eyes you are valuable and loved. He sees the beauty that is on the other side of that wall, that is on the other side of sin. He sees a masterpiece. In Christ we are a masterpiece, a beautiful work of art in God's eyes.
Let God help you tear that wall down and find the beauty on the other side.
